Ye ole memories
Long before my D200, there was my N90s and even further back there was my Minolta something and Dad's Olympus...and the lovely world of film. While film disasters were the ultimate reason for switching to digital, I did have some good pictures. And before the internet and blogger I didn't really share them. But I came across some old pictures, and retook them with my camera. They aren't the best quality, but you will get to see some pictures that maybe you never got to see. So check back lots to see what I've found, who knows maybe an embarassing picture of you will show up ;)

Snippidy snap...don't worry it will grow back
Day tripping
Aah the zoo. Glad I live close to it and have a membership. Because I never feel obligated to stay or see everything on a bad day. Bad weather, we leave. Bad crowds, we leave. Bad moods, we shouldn't have come and definitely leave. This is the first big "us"outing we've had since my surgery. The sea lions were playing underwater tag and Frisbee, Chris was intent on watching them.
A ritual, we must stop at the sea spray exhibit for several minutes
It was a kind of toasty day and some definite wiggles were needing to be out, so I hung out on the bench while a very unfair game of tag began.
After several minutes of chasing they had some nice down time in the wet grass.
What hot day doesn't deserve ice cream? None of course, but two? Sure why not.
Having conquered the difficult task of two ice creams, 8 seconds on the camel was easy to accomplish.
Her new Keen's helped her traverse the rock wall with ease.
It was a good day, tantrums and all.

Family
Families are the most interesting dymanic. Fighting. Vacationing together. Being best friends. Never speaking for years. Just because you're family doesn't mean you like each other. But what if you like each other? How do you remember your family or keep family things going when you live on seperate ends of the country? Well Blogging of course! But in the nondigital websavy ways....I listen to music that reminds me of my family. So for my first post, first real post, I give the list of songs that remind me of some family members. So sit back, hit play and see if you can smile with me.
Dad - Ahab the Arab....I can hear the camel now.
Mom - The Macarena...she heard it in Disneyworld and embarrassed me to death by performing the dance in the middle of the street...WRONG!
Christy - Camel Walk...is she dancing to it yet?
Glenn - Milkshake...it just does.
Ciela - Barbie Girl...the hours I played that for her to dance to.
Liz - NKOTB!!!!!!! You can never live down your room.
Chris - Ice Ice Baby...go white boy, go white boy go!
